Jules ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal data when you use our reminder calling service, including when you connect Jules to third-party clients such as the Jules ChatGPT app.

What we collect

• Account information: Name, email address, and username
• Phone number: To deliver reminder calls to you
• Task data: Your reminders, scheduled times, and preferences
• Connected client data: If you link Jules to ChatGPT or another approved client, we store connection identifiers, approved permission scopes, OAuth tokens, and the reminder actions that client sends us on your behalf
• Google Calendar data: If you enable calendar sync, we access your calendar events to create reminders (read-only access)
• Call metadata: Call duration, status (answered/missed), and timestamps — we do not record call audio

How we use your data

• To call you with reminders at your scheduled times
• To authenticate linked clients such as ChatGPT and carry out the reminder actions you approve there
• To sync with your Google Calendar (if enabled)
• To improve our service reliability and user experience
• To communicate important service updates

ChatGPT and connected client use

If you connect Jules to ChatGPT, we receive only the account-linking details and tool requests needed to complete the action you ask for, such as listing, creating, updating, or deleting reminders. We do not receive your full ChatGPT conversation unless that content is included in the tool request that is sent to Jules.

Third-party services

To provide our calling service, your data is processed by trusted third-party providers:

• OpenAI / ChatGPT: If you link Jules to ChatGPT, OpenAI acts as the connected client that sends approved tool requests to Jules. OpenAI Privacy Policy

International data transfers

Our service providers operate globally, which means your data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place through standard contractual clauses and service provider agreements.

Data retention

• Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active
• Deleted accounts: Your data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Call logs: Retained for 90 days for service quality and troubleshooting
• Connected client records: Retained for as long as the connection is active, plus a limited period for security logs and fraud prevention
