These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Jules ("we," "our," or "us"), a reminder calling service. By using Jules, you agree to these Terms.
Description of service
Jules is an AI-powered reminder service that calls you before scheduled tasks. We use voice AI technology to deliver personalized reminder calls to your phone.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Jules
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You must have the legal authority to agree to these Terms
Your responsibilities
- Accurate information: Your phone number must be valid, belong to you, and you must be authorized to receive calls on it
- Geographic availability: Jules supports phone numbers in most countries where Twilio operates. However, call delivery to certain regions may vary and is not guaranteed
- One account per person: Do not create multiple accounts
- Lawful use: Do not use Jules for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purposes
- No misuse: Do not attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or interfere with our service
AI-powered calls
By using Jules, you acknowledge and consent to:
- Receiving automated phone calls generated by AI voice technology
- Your task descriptions being processed by AI to create personalized reminders
- Call metadata (duration, status, timestamps) being logged for service improvement
We do not record or store the audio content of your calls.
Third-party services
Jules relies on third-party services including Vapi (voice AI), Twilio (telecommunications), Supabase (data storage), and Google (authentication/calendar). Your use of Jules is also subject to their respective terms of service.
Service availability
- We strive to deliver calls on time, but cannot guarantee calls will always connect successfully
- Call delivery depends on factors outside our control (carrier networks, your phone being on, etc.)
- Service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or due to technical issues
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features at any time
Limitation of liability
Jules is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for missed reminders, failed calls, or any consequences thereof
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim
Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability for certain damages. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Jules and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.
Account termination
- You may delete your account at any time
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
Intellectual property
Jules, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our service without permission.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. For users in the European Economic Area, nothing in these Terms affects your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
Dispute resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, legal proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales, or in your country of residence if required by law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Jules after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through our service.
