Smoother Sign-Up, Safer Verification & Easier Logins

This week we focused on one of the most important parts of Jules: getting you from "I should try this" to "my reminder is set" with as little friction as possible.

For a reminder app to actually help, the first few steps need to feel clear and trustworthy. We made sign-up simpler, tightened phone verification, and made it easier for returning users to get back into their account without hitting confusing dead ends.

A Shorter, Clearer Path to Getting Started

We simplified parts of the onboarding flow so it is easier to move from sign-up to your first reminder. That includes a cleaner step sequence, clearer decisions during setup, and fewer moments where you have to stop and wonder what comes next.

If you are trying Jules because you want a reminder app that feels more dependable than another ignored notification, that early experience matters. The goal here was simple: less setup friction, more momentum.

Safer Phone Verification and Better Account Matching

We also improved how Jules handles phone verification and account matching, especially around Google sign-in and existing accounts.

That means fewer situations where someone with an existing Jules account accidentally starts the wrong flow, and fewer cases where duplicate details create confusing errors during sign-up. If your phone number or email is already tied to an account, Jules now does a better job of handling that gracefully.

This is the kind of work users should mostly notice by not noticing it. Sign-up should feel more obvious, phone verification should feel safer, and login should not send you in circles.

Easier for Returning Users to Get Back In

We made several fixes around login and account recovery so returning users can get back to their reminders more reliably.

place more consistently

For busy people, professionals, and anyone who relies on Jules to remember what matters, that reliability is part of the product. If getting back into your account is annoying, reminders never get the chance to help.

_We’re continuing to make Jules easier to trust from the very first reminder onward._
